when i say “is it relevant” i mean if we find out his name will it be one that’s mentioned before so his identity is relevant to WE the reader OR if we do ever get some sort of backstory, he will he have just been Soldier #3 and the point of his story lays completely somewhere else instead of just partially somewhere else

#does this make sense.#so like if u think he’s danny flint that means his identity is relevant.#any historical figure or figure from a legend would count. a mystery we haven’t solved counts.#BUT if his point is JUST to demonstrate a point about the magic system. and he’s just like a random wildling or nights watchman.#polls #like regardless of what your theory is there’s two types of theories right. either u believe He Is Someone or you don’t.
